Whistle Summer Online Class
Description
The ICC are pleased to offer a short online Summer class in the tin Whistle. We offer whistle tuition on Saturdays. The ICC welcomes all interested in learning a new skill. If you are a complete beginner a ‘D’ whistle is an excellent and inexpensive starting point.
Beginners at 10am, Intermediate at 11am, Advanced at 12pm-1pm.
Classes are suitable for adults and children aged 8+.

About the tutor:
Jacquelyn Hynes has a Masters degree in Irish Traditional Music from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick. And she is also Senior Lecturer in Folk at Leeds Conservatoire.
As a soloist, she has played support for some of Ireland’s leading musicians including Martin Hayes, Michael McGoldrick and Lunasa, all at the Irish Cultural Centre.
She has also performed with Donal Lunny in concert, and for President Mary McAleese, at the House of Lords, QEH, The Barbican and across the globe from India and Morocco to Norway and South America.
