The Mike McGoldrick Quintet

Mike McGoldrick, from Manchester, England, is also a multi-instrumentalist and composer. His versatility induces wooden flute, low whistles and Ulleann pipes to sound just right in a wide variety of settings, making him a go-to contributor for many artists including Toss The Feathers Vicente Amigo, Zac Brown Band, Xosé Manuel Budiño, Jerry Douglas, Julie Fowlis, Darrell Scott Nolwenn Leroy, Tim OʼBrien, Dirk Powell and Kate Rusby Mike has played with Mark Knopfler since 2009 and with the Transatlantic Sessions since 2007. Steeped in Irish traditional music he has, from his ground-breaking 2000 solo album Fused onwards, assimilated a wide range of other musical styles - jazz, funk, African and Indian rhythms - into his work. In 2018 Mike released ARC, his fifth solo album, The Wishing Tree with John Doyle and John McCusker, and Dog in the Fog with Dezi Donnelly.

Dezi Donnelly is a Manchester based Fiddle player. One of the founder members of the legendary Celtic Rock Band 'Toss the Feathers'. Often seen collaborating with the likes of Sharon Shannon and BBC instrumentalist of the Year Mike McGoldrick.

Seena Davey plays the Irish, Electric and Concert harps. She studied with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and holds the Associate Diploma in Teaching. She also holds a 1st class honors degree B.A (hons) in Music (performance major) and Irish language from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, and a Masterʼs of Science (M.Sc) in Music Technology from Univeristy of Limerick, Ireland.

She has recorded two albums to date, the second of which will be released at the end of this year. She now composes music, and collaborates with artists of other genres, including Classical, Folk, South American, Jazz, Celtic, Asian Fusion and World Music

Ed Boyd has been a prominent guitarist in the UK and Irish traditional music world for over twenty years. He is a founder member of the much-revered Anglo-Irish quartet Flook since their inception in 1996. A well as concert and festival appearances around the world, their album Rubai was shortlisted for the BBC Folk Album of the Year in 2003 and the band picked up the Best Group award in 2006. He is a long-term associate of the great Mancunion flautist Michael McGoldrick, featuring on all of his recorded output and has been fortunate to play in highly-lauded Northern Irish singer Cara Dillonʼs band for over a decade. He was asked to join ace instrumental band Lúnasa in 2012,
the band have been a staple of the US touring circuit over the past 15 years and recently played a sell-out show at New York Cityʼs Carnegie Hall.

Graeme Blevins is a London-based, Australian born saxophonist. After graduating from the West Australian Conservatorium of Music in Perth, Graeme spent time in New York studying with Chris Potter and Seamus Blake, before relocating to London. Graeme has recorded and toured with Phil Collins (Going Back, 2009-2010), Robbie Williams (Swings Both Ways, 2013-2014), Kylie Minogue (X, 2008-2010), and was a member of the Kyle Eastwood Band (Clintʼs bass playing son) from 2006-2014. In 2019 Graeme was one of the incredible band members who toured with Mark Knopfler on his world tour. As a freelance musician, Graeme has performed with Quincy Jones, Charlie Hunter, Mark Ronson, Tom Jones, Taylor Swift, Martha Reeves, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst others; in addition to recording many albums, film scores and TV shows.
