Super Great Kids’ Stories – Multicultural Storytelling Live on Stage at the ICC

Chart-topping multicultural storytelling podcast - Super Great Kids’ Stories, launches its World Premiere at the ICC. Bring the family to listen to our gifted storytellers: Kate Corkery, Tuup, and podcast host, Kim Normanton to a Sunday afternoon of interactive, multicultural stories and terrific tales. Meet our storytellers: 

Kate Corkery – ICC talented storyteller-in-residence, has shared her captivating stories in schools, festivals and theatres across the world. Kate particularly enjoys telling stories from Ireland and uses her versatile voice to conjure up characters such as Molly and the cheeky little Leprechaun.

Tuup, (a.k.a. Godfrey Duncan), was born in West London of Guyanese parents and is one of the most inspirational storytellers from the African – Caribbean community. He tells lively tales using his skills as a musician, to weave music and rhymes through his stories. He’ll have you singing, and tapping, and jiggling and maybe even dancing before his tale is out. 

Kim Normanton is the host of the chart-topping podcast ‘Super-Great Kids’ Stories. She’s been telling traditional stories in schools around the world for twenty years. As a qualified teacher with a specialism in Early Years she particularly enjoys sharing her love of words with young children, putting an emphasis on participation and fun. She uses rhyme and song and has a world repertoire from Fables to Fairy tales. She’s appeared on CBeebies Radio and has presented programmes about Cinderella, Creation Tales and Folk Tales on BBC Radio. She’s very much looking forward to meeting some of the Super Great Kids’ podcast fans in real life.
