Poetry Performance Workhop with Owen O'Neill

Owen’s workshop’s are very informal, laid back and good fun. They will mainly cover poetry performance, but will also look at some of your favourite poets who have inspired you and why?

Throughout the class you will have the opportunity to workshop your poems, hone and polish and also get feedback on your work, old and new, through discussion from within the group itself.

We will look at abstraction and images in poetry how to avoid clichés and how to think originally.

Rhyme and rhythm will also be a topic for discussion how to read your work aloud and bring it alive from the page.
