As part of the ICC’s “TRIBUTE to JOSEF LOCKE” we present a special Film Screening of the award winning film, ‘HEAR MY SONG’ to mark the 30th Anniversary of the making of the film!

Hear My Song is a 1991 comedy film written by the actors Peter Chelsom (who also directed) and Adrian Dunbar (who plays the lead) based on the story of Irish tenor Josef Locke. It was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 1993 BAFTA awards.

The film with be followed by a special Q&A with ICC Patron and Actor, Adrian Dunbar.

About Adrian Dunbar

Adrian Dunbar is a Northern Irish actor and director, known for his television and his theatre work. Dunbar co-wrote and starred in the 1991 film Hear My Song, nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the BAFTA awards.

Since 2012, he has played Superintendent Ted Hastings in all six series of BBC Television's Line of Duty. He has appeared as Alan Cox in The Jump, Martin Summers in Ashes to Ashes, Richard Plantagenet in The Hollow Crown, and as Father Flaherty in Broken.

All events are subject to the ICC's Safer Events Policy to help manage the risks after the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in England.

The safety measures in place by the ICC are as follows:

All staff have been briefed on the ICC coronavirus training policy and health & safety policy.
The venue has supplied suitable PPE and warnings signs and recommendations to protect staff and customers such as free masks and sanitiser stations.
Refunds can be actioned up to 24 hours before the event.
A clear one way system will remain in place.
Staff will wear PPE throughout the duration of the event.
Delegates will be advised to continue wearing masks indoors.
All ventilation will remain on during the events to help with air flow.
Doors will be propped open for entrance and egress.
Test and trace logos will be on display for delegates entering the building to use.
The venue has increased its cleaning and has suitable cleaning supplies on site.
Staff will be bubbled to stop the mixing of teams.
All staff will only report to work if they are in good health.

All ticket holders are subject to these checks:

To gain entrance to the event all delegates can show their Covid-19 pass, or agree to a contactless temperature check. Any delegate who’s temperature is above 37.8 degrees will be asked to leave the venue immediately and return to their private dwelling.
All delegates by entering the venue will be agreeing that they are attending on the knowledge that they are not currently infected with Covid-19 and are in good health.
All delegates will be reminded to sanitise/wash their hands.
The ICC reserves the right to ask any delegate to leave if they clearly show symptoms of Covid-19.
